Traditionally, for most Christians, the Christmas season is a time of reflection on the advent of the birth of Jesus Christ in a lonely stable in Bethlehem over two thousand years ago. Then, in fulfillment of the Scriptures, Jesus Christ, the Lord of Glory, willingly left His heavenly splendor and came to our fallen world for the single purpose of rescuing all of humanity from the terrible scourge of sin.
The story of the Gospel is the fulfillment of that purpose through Christ's death on a cross, His resurrection from the grave, and triumphant ascension to heaven. In heaven, He remains seated at the right hand of the Father, performing one of His most important tasks of reconciling the nations to the Father through His high priestly ministry of intercession.
For the past twenty-five years, it has been our privilege to share in this beautiful ministry of reconciliation through the various ways God has enabled IPMI to facilitate united prayer for revival among Christians from around the world.
The most unmistakable evidence of God's blessings on these efforts is the thousands of Christians from various nations worldwide who have joined us in prayer over the years. Indeed, we have seen more Christians mobilized to pray during this pandemic than at any other time in our ministry's history.
We could not possibly sustain this intensity and longevity without the partnership of a team of dedicated leaders, volunteers, and partners, whose contribution has been critical to the organization's growth and development over these many years.
On behalf of the entire IPMI leadership team, I would like to say a Huge Thank You for your heartfelt support and contributions to IPMI during 2021, which, for so many people, has proven to be a rather challenging year. We wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Christ-filled 2022.
