Praying a Proverb
For as long as I can remember, Proverbs 14: 34 has been a part of my Christian consciousness. In case it doesn’t ring a bell, the NIV version says, “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin condemns any people.” Or to put it in King James (and American Standard Version) language, “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”
About the Annual Prayer Breakfast
We are living in perilous times. Nations around the world are facing some of their worst crises since the last world war and global persecution of Christians has reached unprecedented levels. The need for God's divine intervention in world affairs could not be more urgent. Indeed, the call to prayer, in pursuit of the fulfillment of God's redemptive purposes in the nations, could not be more critical. It is in response to this urgent need of prayer for the nations that IPMI hosts the Twenty-second Annual Prayer Breakfast. This event provides attendees an excellent opportunity to participate in a live experience of anointed worship, listen to a dynamic message from the Internationally recognized speaker, Rev. Dr. Joel Edwards, as well as, engage in a powerful corporate expression of prayer for the nations. We invite you to join us for this important event.
